Portal Power is a tech start-up out of The University of Utah's Lassonde Studios Entrepreneur Institute, founded in 2016 by Aiden Daoussis. Their product is the Portal Cord, a charging cable laced with inline batteries, allowing the user to keep their device charged without a power outlet or a portable battery. I had the opportunity to work with them as part of my Identity Design class when their cord was in its testing stages to design a brand identity. The company has come a long way since its inception, having raised $100K+ on kickstarter platforms.
